Customer Success Story
How Green Factory aligned demand and supply planning with real-time insights

Green Factory produces fresh vegetables, mixed salads, and ready-to-eat plant-based meals for retail, HoReCa, and B2B customers across Central and Eastern Europe.
As part of Green Holding Group, the company operates a fully integrated farm-to-table model, from farming and hydroponics to food processing, logistics, and shared services. This end-to-end approach ensures consistent quality and control at every stage.
With production sites across multiple countries, Green Factory combines scale with a strong focus on sustainability, circular economy practices, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
Challenge
Disconnected data limited S&OP visibility and alignment
Operating in the fresh food industry—specifically in the “Ultra Fresh” segment—Green Factory produces vegetables, salads, and ready-to-eat meals that require precise coordination between demand, production, and distribution. With short product lifecycles and strict quality requirements, aligning supply with constantly changing demand is critical.
As the company expanded its operations across Central and Eastern Europe, its planning processes became more complex. Sales forecasts, production plans, and supply chain data were managed in separate spreadsheets and systems. Consolidating this information required significant manual effort.
This fragmented setup made it difficult to create a unified view of demand and supply. Without a connected sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, aligning Sales, Operations, and Finance required additional coordination. Version inconsistencies and manual updates slowed planning cycles and reduced confidence in the numbers.
As a result, responding quickly to changes in demand or supply conditions was challenging. Green Factory needed a more integrated approach to S&OP that connects data across functions, improves visibility, and supports faster, more coordinated decision-making.
Solution
Jedox connects demand and supply planning in one platform
With support from Fellowmind Finland, Green Factory implemented Jedox to unify its S&OP processes across Sales, Operations, and Finance. By integrating data from multiple systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, into a single platform, Jedox created a consistent foundation for demand and supply planning.
Sales forecasts, production plans, and supply data are now connected in one environment. This allows teams to align demand plans with operational capacity and supply constraints in real time. Automated data integration replaces manual consolidation, ensuring that all stakeholders work with accurate and up-to-date information.

Jedox supports collaborative S&OP workflows, enabling cross-functional teams to contribute directly to the planning process. This means aligning assumptions, validating plans, and adjusting inputs within the same system, thus improving coordination and reducing the effort required to reconcile different versions of the plan.
The platform also enables advanced scenario planning. Teams can quickly adjust key drivers such as demand changes or production capacity and see the impact across the value chain. This helps Green Factory evaluate options and respond more effectively to changing conditions.
By connecting demand, supply, and financial planning, Jedox provides a structured and flexible foundation for S&OP.
Outcome
Faster S&OP decisions with integrated pricing and forecasting
With Jedox, Green Factory improved the speed and quality of its S&OP process. By linking demand forecasts with production and supply plans, the company gained a clearer view of how changes in demand affect operations.
Planning cycles are now faster and more efficient. Automated data flows reduce manual effort, allowing teams to focus on analyzing demand patterns and balancing supply decisions. Updates to forecasts and plans can be made quickly, supporting a more agile planning approach.
Building on this foundation, Green Factory extended its Jedox solution with a pricing tool for Ultra Fresh products. The tool automatically generates customer offers based on producer prices, margins, and other pricing factors. This replaces manual Excel-based quoting and significantly reduces time and errors in the process.
“After the huge growth we noticed that the Excel was not enough. We needed more stable, more reliable tool.”

Strategic Planning & S&OP Director CEE, Green Factory
Pricing is now faster, more consistent, and closely aligned with operational and financial planning. By connecting pricing with demand planning, Green Factory is creating a more integrated S&OP process that links commercial decisions with supply and capacity.
The next step is to integrate pricing data directly into demand planning and financial forecasting. This will bring planning, budgeting, and pricing together in one environment, enabling more accurate forecasts and better-informed decisions.
Overall, Jedox enables Green Factory to run a more connected and responsive S&OP process, improving alignment between demand, supply, and pricing while supporting more efficient operations.
