FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Some features in Jedox 26 are introduced gradually and are not all equally available at launch. Some capabilities are available as beta, and some may require individual activation or be available on request. Other capabilities are available behind feature flags, meaning they can be activated separately by administrators for their environment or for individual users.

For customers with certain regional or data residency configurations, some AI features may not be available immediately at launch and may require explicit activation before use. In such cases, please contact Jedox Support to enable the relevant AI services for your environment.

Jedox 26 is being rolled out in phases. The release moves through early access stages first, followed by a scheduled customer production rollout in May. After the launch, some features may still require individual activation.
No, the new Integrator UI is introduced gradually. It can initially be enabled via feature toggle; users can switch between the old and new UI during the transition phase. Both versions will remain available simultaneously. Changes will be synchronized between the old and new user interfaces.
JedoxAI helps users understand and explain KPIs faster by turning complex KPI analysis into guided, structured insights. It can automatically support tasks such as version comparisons, segmentation, ranking, trend analysis, distribution analysis, driver-based breakdowns, and narrative explanations with supporting charts and tables. It also enables users to explore data in natural language, create views more quickly, and refine their analysis iteratively.
Python support in Jedox Integrator is released as a standard GA feature. No additional licensing is required.
The handling of complex JSON structures has been improved through enhancements to the JSON extract functionality in Jedox Integrator. This includes support for retrieving parent nodes, improved handling of nested loop elements, support for JSON arrays without a root element, better extraction into structured formats, and dynamic splitting of JSON array objects. These improvements are intended to reduce transformation steps, simplify work with complex APIs, and reduce the need for custom scripting in many cases.
Cube Delta Extract is available on request and may require individual activation.
The Knowledge Agent provides context-aware assistance directly within the Jedox Integrator. It can help with knowledge retrieval, error explanations, step-by-step contextual support, Groovy and SQL code templates, and conversational assistance. Its purpose is to reduce onboarding time, accelerate troubleshooting, and increase user confidence.
Dynatables in Jedox 26 include several usability improvements. These include sorting of row headers and data values, multi-element selection with direct aggregation, faster and more intuitive selection in large hierarchies, reduced manual navigation, and persistent configurations such as saved sorting across sessions. These changes are intended to make multidimensional analysis faster and more intuitive.
Faster ad hoc analysis is supported especially by natural language interaction for Views, Data Insights, and Dynatable usability improvements. Users can create and refine Views using natural language, generate structured KPI analysis more quickly, sort and compare data more easily, and work with multiple elements more efficiently inside Dynatables.
