Today, ALPLA Turkey operates five production sites with approximately 420 employees. The company manufactures PET bottles, preforms, and caps for the home care, beauty care, food, and beverage industries. Key technologies in the region include extrusion blow molding, injection molding for PET, and injection molding for caps.

ALPLA Group faced challenges in centralizing demand and production planning across their five facilities in Western Turkey. Their disconnected, Excel-based planning process was becoming unmanageable, making it difficult to effectively plan and control raw materials, labor, energy, and other overhead costs.
They needed a system to calculate and track costs while monitoring sales price details for each customer. Additionally, they aimed to implement structured strategic and long-term planning—allowing them to model future scenarios such as establishing a new production facility, adopting new technologies, or expanding into new regions with new customers.

ALPLA Group adopted a business planning process powered by the Jedox platform, featuring an intuitive, guided user planning interface. Profitability calculations are now performed at both the customer and product levels, factoring in customer-specific consumption and usage. Budget values can be easily copied, making future planning and scenario modeling seamless and efficient.
The Finance team at ALPLA Group can now conduct detailed cost analyses, factoring in raw materials, logistics, and energy expenses. During demand and sales planning, they can accurately calculate machine utilization and capacity requirements. Additionally, by determining product costs and prices, they can perform windfall calculations to quickly adapt to sudden shifts in buyer demand or other market changes.
