Challenge

Disconnected ERPs limited scalability and visibility across units

As Construction Forms Inc. expanded globally, financial reporting and planning became increasingly complex and labor-intensive. Operating with multiple disconnected ERP systems across business units in the U.S., Germany, and India, the company lacked a standardized, consolidated view of financial performance. Reports were compiled manually through spreadsheets, limited to high-level general ledger data, and lacked the transaction-level visibility needed to support timely decision-making.

The challenge escalated following the acquisition of Tricon in 2023, which introduced a third ERP system. This highlighted the urgent need for a scalable solution to integrate data, align planning across business units, and simplify external stakeholder reporting.

Producing financial statements involved maintaining two separate reporting tools, consuming excessive time and resources. Financial closes took up to three weeks, leaving little time for meaningful analysis.

Con Forms needed a solution that could integrate diverse data sources—ERP, CRM, and operational systems—without requiring full-scale ERP consolidation. Beyond solving these immediate challenges, the company also sought to establish a future-ready foundation for AI-powered forecasting and enterprise-wide planning.

Solution

Integrated Jedox platform and Snowflake data warehouse to align cross-functional planning

Con Forms chose Jedox for its robust data integration capabilities, web-based interface, and flexibility in modeling across entities. By centralizing multiple ERP systems’ ledger and transactional data into Snowflake and integrating with Jedox, the company unified its financial and operational information into a single source of truth. This allowed for deeper insights into sales, cost of sales, and vendor-level spend across all global entities.

Stakeholders beyond Finance—operations, commercial, and HR—now participate directly in planning through driver-based templates built in Jedox. Forecasts draw from real-time inputs like payroll hours, headcount, and shipping projections. The platform enabled alignment across departments during budgeting and S&OP processes and encouraged change management success by engaging users early and tailoring dashboards to their specific needs.

An essential first step in the transformation was getting data readiness right. Con Forms invested time in structuring and centralizing data from multiple disconnected ERPs, ensuring a clean and scalable foundation. That work paid off—today, a 30-second refresh process updates their data monthly, enabling rapid forecast cycles and eliminating the need for redundant systems.

Outcome

Efficient, collaborative planning and reporting across departments and geographies

Jedox has fundamentally improved operational efficiency and collaboration at Construction Forms. The financial close process has been reduced from three weeks to just seven days, even as the company continues to grow via acquisitions. With real-time access, external stakeholders like board analysts and private equity firms can now securely access reports without relying on insecure email or manual exports.

Finance leaders benefit from standardized reporting formats and transaction-level drill-downs across three independent ERPs. Controllers gain instant access to pre-built variance and trend reports, cutting down manual report creation at the business unit level. These efficiencies allow teams to focus more on analysis and business support, rather than on compiling reports.

The foundation also supports rapid integration of new acquisitions—new ERP systems can be connected via Snowflake and mapped to Jedox without requiring disruptive system migrations. With a clean data architecture now in place, the company is preparing to explore AI forecasting capabilities to further accelerate its planning processes and support strategic growth.

“Jedox freed us up to spend more time on analysis and less time on report building. Now we can close faster, support decision-making sooner, and actually influence the business.”
— Kevin Griffin, Director of FP&A, Construction Forms
