We had an exciting two days in Cologne last week at the 2018 Jedox Partner Summit. Hundreds of Jedox partners from around the world gathered with their peers to gain new insights on the product, as well as the latest industry trends.

Among those keeping everyone up to date (as well as entertained) were Alyssa Fitzpatrick, General Manager, Worldwide Partner Sales at Microsoft. Alyssa delivered a very relevant message about digital transformation and the importance of combining existing competencies with new capabilities, highlighting enterprise trends such as social selling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Speaking of artificial intelligence, another event highlight was the keynote from Chris Boos, Founder and CEO of Arago, a leading artificial intelligence company that helps businesses automate their IT processes through intelligent automation. Chris elaborated on the advantages of AI and discussed how it’s being used as a tool to change enterprise business models from linear to exponential. He also assured that Terminators won’t be taking over the world anytime soon (thank goodness)!

Last but not least, we had a future-oriented keynote by Chris Moore, Senior Vice President Channels and Alliances at Qlik. Focused on the ubiquitous topic of digital and data-driven transformation, Chris discussed how we are entering the 4th Industrial Revolution and why partnerships are key to capturing the wave.

Along with the keynotes, the event was packed with informative breakout sessions covering every possible topic from the Jedox roadmap and latest product innovation, to go-to-market strategies and best practices. Breaking news was the announcement that Jedox has appointed Florian Winterstein as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective October 2, 2018.

Days of hard work and information exchange culminated in a celebration of epic proportions, which included the annual partner awards ceremony.

This year’s winners are:

A big thank you goes to our Sponsors Qlik and Microsoft.
