Jedox Simplifies Food & Beverage Reporting & Planning in Japan
Founded in 1928, Tokyo American Club is a private club with close to 4,000 Members from more than 50 nations around the world. The Club o ffers a diverse range of cultural, business and recreational activities and amenities in the heart of the Japanese capital to members, their families and guests. The planning and reporting requirements in delivering this wide range of services has steadily grown over time, and analysis has become more sophisticated.
The Club’s Information Technology Director, Mr. Toby Lauer, says the Club discovered Jedox during its search for a suitable business planning system. The primary aim was to find a business planning system that could process complicated reports and simplify them in usage and presentation. What attracted the Club to Jedox was the simple pricing model and the ease at which Jedox embraced Excel, enabling the creation of flexible new options through the self-service reporting tools, faster automated data loading and built-in consolidation options.
“Each budget consolidation process prior to Jedox was taking hours. Now it takes us minutes. This year we feel that our budget consolidation process was done as efficiently and quickly as possible.”
