Eastern Europe was a key growth area for Jedox in 2013, helping to drive record results for the year: total sales rose by over 10%, almost double the rate of the overall BI market.
International markets accounted for over 50% of global revenue at Jedox for the first time in 2013, and Eastern Europe was a key source of growth. Jedox won new clients across the region, including in Russia, Latvia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.
The list of new clients includes ER Telecom, the fourth largest telecoms firm in Russia, which now uses Jedox BI software to plan and analyze its budgets; the Russian Ministry of Health; and global medical company Fresenius Medical Care in Hungary. In addition, French pharmaceutical behemoth Sanofi-Aventis implemented Jedox BI software for global budgeting and planning purposes at its subsidiaries in Slovenia, Moldova, Romania and Greece.
The new clients span the industry spectrum in the region: as well as telecoms and healthcare companies, Jedox software is being used by firms in the cosmetics, food retail, consumer electronics, IT systems, engineering, advanced manufacturing, transport services and energy solution sectors, among others.
