Jedox invited its certified partners from around the world to the historic German city of Mainz for its 2014 Partner Summit from 7-9 April. The exciting three-day event more than lived up to its name, Better Together, with attendees expanding their knowledge networks, making new contacts and benefiting from shared experiences and expertise.

Overall, 103 Jedox partners from 20 countries met at the event. The multinational group included attendees from as far afield as Singapore, Canada, Australia and Ecuador. The 2014 event was the third Jedox Partner Summit, which focuses on promoting mutual success, and the number of attendees has grown significantly each year.

“This year we were proud to welcome almost 25% more partners, established and new, to our summit. The jump in participation reflects Jedox’s growing global focus: we generate almost half of our revenue through our steadily growing partner channel and we now have over 100 partners worldwide. The summit aims to further strengthen cooperation between Jedox and our partners,” comments Jedox COO, Bernd Eisenblätter.

The summit was held at a first-rate venue, the Hyatt Regency Mainz, which overlooks the Rhine and provided a beautiful setting for the powerhouse business and networking event.

With sharing expertise a key focus, the three-day event offered a wide range of opportunities to learn more about Jedox and its award-winning business intelligence (BI) technology. Jedox CTO Matthias Krämer opened the summit with a presentation on Jedox 5.1, the latest version of the Jedox BI solution. He demonstrated the new software’s innovative functionality, including data-driven modeling, and outlined the work of Jedox’s in-house development team. Dr. Rolf Gegenmantel, Jedox Vice President Business Consulting, provided exclusive insight into how Jedox positions itself in the BI industry.

In addition, the summit included a number of other technical presentations, which were supported by sales and consulting workshops and, in line with the Better Together theme, numerous partners showcased successful best practices, helping to expand the Jedox knowledge network.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Jedox Partner Award at a gala banquet held at the Laubenheimer Höhe, a charming country inn near the hotel. Jedox partners also received awards in the Rising Star, Alliance Partner, Partner of the Year and Solutions Partner categories, which are presented for excellence in sales and marketing and in the implementation of Jedox solutions. “The presentation of the Jedox Partner Award was a wonderful surprise for the summit attendees. The awards honor the sterling contribution of our certified partners, with whom we gladly share our success,” adds Eisenblätter.

Many partners stayed on in Mainz after the event, taking the opportunity to learn more about Jedox and its trailblazing solution. The two days of Jedox Academy classes that followed the summit were sold out. With the System Administrator and Web Expert classes particularly well attended, many partners can now offer their clients an even greater range of qualified training.

The 2014 Better Together Jedox Partner Summit set the standard for open dialogue and the invigorating exchange of ideas between Jedox and its partners.

Jedox would like to thank all the partners who attended for coming to the summit and for their positive feedback. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
