Freiburg & Boston, May 27, 2020 – Jedox has once again achieved excellent results in this year’s “The Planning Survey 20” conducted by analyst firm BARC. In the world’s largest user survey for planning software, the Jedox position as a market-leading planning and analytics vendor was confirmed.
In the survey on the use of planning, budgeting, and forecasting software, Jedox secured 36 leading positions in four different peer groups, including 6 top positions in categories such as “Business value,” “Project length,” “Data integration,” and “Self-service.” These rankings confirm that Jedox offers its customers clear added value, especially in the current climate where fast implementation of EPM solutions offering high business value is vital. Thanks to a global presence and worldwide customer base, Jedox also achieved a total of four top rankings and eight leading positions in the “Global Vendors” peer group.

Jedox achieves 4 top positions in the “Global Vendors” peer group
The Business Application Research Center (BARC) divides the various products of the participating 23 providers into eight peer groups. In the current Planning Survey, Jedox achieved four top positions in the group “Global Vendors” with “Project length,” “Business value,” “Data integration,” and “Self-service” as well as other excellent results in the categories “Business benefits,” “Project success,” “Recommendation,” “Flexibility” and “Customer experience.” This continues the previous series of excellent placements for Jedox in the Planning Survey in the global peer group, which includes vendors such as SAP, IBM, and Oracle, among others.
Fast implementation, powerful data integration, good flexibility, and outstanding self-service features
- In the category “Project length,” Jedox achieved first place in the peer group “Global Vendors” as well as in the group “BI-focused Products.” Satisfied customers confirm a fast implementation time of their Jedox projects. Quick implementation and a fast launch of professional, integrated planning can be a decisive factor for businesses, especially in times of crisis.

The Planning Survey 20 is based on findings from the world’s largest and most comprehensive survey of planning software users, conducted from November 2019 to February 2020. In total, 1,406 people responded to the survey. Altogether, 23 products were analyzed in detail.
