Tableau Integration

Jedox supports connections to Tableau 10.5 and later, offering the best of financial and forecasting planning with optimized data visualization.

The integration also offers the Tableau load, which writes data from Jedox into a .hyper file for use with Tableau Software, e.g. Tableau Desktop. You can also publish the .hyper file directly to Tableau Server during the load.

First steps

A scalable, powerful approach for integrating Jedox data dynamically with Tableau is Jedox OData Hub, a cloud-based service that allows third-party systems to consume Jedox information on demand. Check for details on installation and licenses here.

Another option is the TableauServer connector, which can be used with the Tableau REST API. For this connection a Tableau Connector License is required.

You can also establish a TableauHyperfile connection. TableauHyperfile is a proprietary file format for high performance data input into the data visualization software Tableau. With this connection type, a file in the .hyper format can be specified.
