Successful closing of first half of 2011 / staff headcount rises by 31% / customer base past 1000 mark/ sales growth exceeds projections
Jedox AG, provider of Open Source and Premium Business Intelligence solutions continues to grow strongly and has closed the first half of 2011 with a growth in turnover of more than 70 percent, far exceeding the projected results. The positive trend is a result from strong business activities with new and existing customers, growing internationalisation as well as the capacity for technical innovation. ´Jedox has won 79 new customers in the first half of the year and currently counts 1000 paying customers who use the Premium Edition Jedox Palo. The free Community Version of Palo has been downloaded by over 10.000 user companies in 88 countries. The share of Premium clients as compared to users of the Community Version has risen to over ten percent and supports the growth of business domestically and abroad. Furthermore, with 70 staff members on the reporting date of 31 August 2011, Jedox has increased its head count by 31 percent since the beginning of the year and has successfully introduced new products to the market.
New national clients in the first half year of 2011
Jedox has acquired 79 new clients in the first half of 2011 in total, exceeding the 1000 mark in total. Businesses in the German-speaking regions that have chosen Jedox Palo in the areas of planning, analysis and reporting are e.g.: The „University Medical Center Göttingen“ (UMG), umbrella of the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital Göttingen, has used Jedox Palo to model an internal, standardized reporting system utilized by its management board and mid-level managers. Additional application scenarios within the Medical Center’s environment are being developed in collaboration with Jedox experts.
Visapix GmbH provides video analysis software for measuring customer flow in retail companies throughout Europe. “With Jedox Palo, we are able to model the customer-specific reports much faster than with any other software tools we have used in the past. We regret that we have not implemented Jedox Palo for our customer reports much sooner”, Engelbert vom Kolke, CEO of VISAPIX explains.
Richter + Frenzel, wholesaler for sanitary products, housing technology and civil engineering, has implemented Jedox Palo for the planning of revenue, cost and inventory with a planning period of 3 years. Planning procedures are performed monthly on the basis of cost and profit centers; a consolidated P/L on corporate level is created with the help of Jedox Palo. The Meiller Group, market leader for tipper bodies introduced Palo to build a sales reporting tool based on SAP-ERP and SAP-BW.
