Kristian Raue founded Jedox in 2002 to invest in spreadsheet-based application hosting. As CEO, he provides both the business leadership and the corporate vision gained through 11 years as a successful entrepreneur and executive.
Throughout his life, Kristian Raue has been dedicated to the advancement of spreadsheet technologies. As early as 1988, he won the Microsoft Excel Applications Programming Competition.
In 1991, he founded his first Software Company. The next few years were spent developing the Excel-Applications Portfolio, MacroMaker and Control-It!. In 1997, the company was renamed the IntelliCube Software AG. From this point on Kristian Raue lead the company as CEO. IntelliCube developed the OLAP Reporting-tool OnVision. OnVision was the first program to use the patented Hyperblock technology developed by Kristian Raue (Hyperblocks enable a dynamic change in the structure of Spreadsheet layouts when computing and displaying multidimensional reports).
The IntelliCube Software AG was sold in 2000 to the MIS AG, a leading European provider of business-intelligence solutions and services. The MIS AG (www.misag.com) released the OnVision program as a reporting component for SAP BW and MS Analysis Server within its MIS DecisionWare line of products.
With the funds accumulated from the sale of the IntelliCube Software AG and using his extensive experience both in the field of Single-User Spreadsheet Applications and in the field of Multi-User OLAP-Servers, Kristian Raue was able to work towards his longtime goal. Now, his newly created company (www.jedox.com), is poised to introduce and optimize the use Enterprise Spreadsheets.
