Import from Excel

I had some difficulties to use the palo application.
I created 4 dimensions:
- Agence with element: nom (String)
- Produit with 4 elements: Type, groupeP, GroupeF, code (all String)
- Date
- Données with elements: Quantité, tonnage, (all numbers)
I create a cube with 4 dimensions (agence, produit, date, données).
I have an excel file with the following (8) columns: agence, type, groupeP, groupeF, code, date, quantité, et tonnage.
How shall I import the data from my excel file (I already create the SDN, and run the ODBC import widzard via Palo but I cannot fill in the data into the cube)
Attached picture of my excel file.
Thanks in advance for your appreciated help.

My regards.

Hi Sadine you can make life easier for yourself by using the data import function. If you save you data in CSV format you can import them very easily

All you need to do is create a file with a PALO.SETDATA() formula. I think that the Palo 1.5 guide P 59 onwards will tell you all you need to know.

Salut Sadine
