linux and windows

Hello forum,

Ihaven't found on the forum a clear explanation whether it is possible or not.

The question is very easy, as i have never used anything related to Linux:
Can I use a linux server where I'd install the Palo DB and engine and connect to it via my PC, running Excel?

thanks !

Sure! :)
Add an palo.ini entry in OLAP Directory of your Server like:

http "<IP of the server>" 7777

and restart Palo.

Now on client side (Excel). Add a server entry with <IP of the server> and port. Done.
