New build III

Hi,

Great visualisation of the dimensions. I hope this will be possible for the total OLAP database (facttables and dimensions) as well.

Will there be more new features in the JPALO compared with PALO for Excel ?

Regards,
Marco

RE: New build III

Hi Marco,

we are planning to additionally visualize:

- Subset elements
- Dimension-Cube dependencies and vice-versa
- Database-Cube-Dimensions Tree

Any additional suggestions?

We will adapt to the upcoming features of Palo like access rights, attribute tables and the dimension queries as soon as they are available. Maybe we will provide something around data import, depending on whether we identify an open source tool, that can be integrated smoothly and that works in connection with our graphical tools.

But I guess you are asking about reporting features that are available within the Excel Add-In and not within the cube viewer. We do have plenty ideas there, but did not define priorities yet. What are the most important features missing in this area from your point of view?

Regards,

Michael
