Palo Versioning Horror

Hi there,

I am a newbie on Palo and it seems like I have broken everything I can think of in Palo.

Here is my scenario:
First installed Palo 3.0, works perfectly on Excel.
Then tried worksheet server, does not work, realised I was using WSS 2.0, so decided to downgrade Palo 3.0 to Palo 2.5.
Great, removed Palo 3.0, reinstall Palo 2.5, cannot get to my localhost, then I reinstall Palo 3.0, cant get to the localhost neither.

Now everything breaks, nothing work on my side, what can I do to fix?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for my stupidity.

RE: Palo Versioning Horror

Might be better to uninstall ws2, ws3 and palo and delete the respective directories to.

Then install WS2 if you like to test this one and then palo 2.5 or 3.0. During setup choose advanced setup so you can see where the files go.....

Tried, and eventually I get my localhost back on, but I have used another port, however, all my data are gone, but it's fine, I am only testing how Palo perform, so not really a problem.

You can save the palo data directory. Then you won't loose data if you copy back your db after reinstall.

RE: Palo Versioning Horror

Well, I thought it won't delete my data as I just uninstall the application only.

But anyway, got it to work at least on Excel

Thanks
