Data-Import from Excel-sheet in to database

Hello,
i'm working with palo since yesterday. It's ok so far, problem is, i have no explanation-manual or sth. I downloaded 4 Chapters from jedox.de but they were not very helpful. The Problem

I have to import Data from an Execl-Sheet into the Database (see first image below).
I've already managed to import some data from other maps and copied the import structure and changed the important things to fit in this map (2nd image). And it's just not working. Any suggestions? Or some general advices about mistakes that are often done.
Sorry for my very very bad english.

The is a named cell _paloimportactive on your sheet (don#T know which one) and result is "kein Import" because this cell is not WAHR. What happens then when you set this one to WAHR?

Thanks for the fast reply but it doesn't change anything.
Actually, when I run the Import-Assistant with internal Loop and go through the steps manually, the cell, that says "kein import" in the screenshot, should change to the data that should be imported. Here it's changing to "#NAME?", until the end of the loop. After checking all the spellings I have no clou what to do now.

Hi,

did you try to use only the PALO.SETDATA without the "=WENN(_paloimportactive,.." ?

I usually use WENN(A1!="";...

could you refer a little bit more to my exampel?
I tried: =WENN(A1!="";PALO.SETDATA(B7;FALSCH;_db;_cube;$B$6;$E7;$F7;$B$5;$E$69);"Kein Import")
and excel tells me there is a mistake
Or was A1! just an example and i didn't get it? I couldn't connect it to my exampel.

Hi,

sorry I gave you the wrong syntax. It is
WENN(A1<>"";PALO.SETDATA(B7;FALSCH;_db;_cube;$B$6;$E7;$F7;$B$5;$E$69);"Kein Import")

Whenever you use the import assistant from Palo, it writes every single line in the first one (starting with A1). This way you only check if something is in cell A1.

I would recommend using PALO.SETDATA first without any "WENN" Condition to make sure your SETDATA formula works fine.

ok,
ich glaub hier sind größtenteils deutsch unterwegs. Wieso dann nicht auch so.
hab den syntax probiert und es kommt direkt "#NAME?", mit der grünen Ecke oben rechts, von wegen formel-fehler.
Wie würde das denn ohne WENN-Bedingung aussehen?
Was anderes noch:
brauche ich diesen =PALO.ENAME("localhost/Ruesselsheim";"Monate";"Dez";1) bei jedem Attribut dass ich zuweise, oder gibts da unterschiede? Und wie kommen solche unterschiede zustande?:
=PALO.ENAME("localhost/Ruesselsheim";"Herkunft";"Deutsche";1)
=PALO.ENAME("localhost/Ruesselsheim";"Herkunft";"Ausländer";1;"")

Hi,
wenn #Name kommt, kann es sein, dass deine Verformelung nicht korrekt ist. Du kannst mal mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Zelle und dann "Palo Fehler".

Ich weiß leider nicht wann du ENAME() verwendest.

jo, am Ende war's doch wieder trivial.
Die Dimensionselemente in der Formel waren nicht in der selben Reihenfolge wie im Cube.

Unsauberkeiten in den Dimensionslementen verhindern Import

Hatte ebenfalls soeben ein Import Problem.
Bei mir lag es daran, dass ich ein Dimensionselement als nummerisch/string formatiert war (Bsp. 20000), ich aber tatsächlich Dimensionselemente die Buchstaben enthielten angelegt hatte (Bsp. 20000A);
Da stolpert der Importer dann und gibt #Name? als Fehler aus.

Hallo allerseits, ich probiere es auch mal auf Deutsch, dann wird es vielleicht klarer.

Ich habe meine Daten problemlos importiert. Allerdings ist mir direkt aufgefallen, dass die import-Funktion setdata nicht alle zellen farbig markiert beziehungsweise nicht die Zellen adressiert, sondern bei 3-4 Zellen dann einfach der Inhalt der Zelle in Gänsefüsschen steht. Wenn ich dann versuche die Zellen direkt zu adressieren mit "$n$1" zum Beispiel bekomme ich Fehler.

Meine Frage lautet nun: Können die Werte auch richtig eingelesen werden, wenn sie nicht relativ (mit Zellenadressierung) eingelesen werden oder stimmt dann etwas im Einleseprozess nicht?

Woran kann der Fehler liegen? Die Dimensionen sind fast in der richtigen Reihenfolge angelegt. Das einzige was ich mir vorstellen kann ist, dass die Kennzahlen in dem Textdokument nicht alle 3 am Ende vorkommen und somit die Reihenfolge der Dimensionen im Modeller nicht 100%ig übereinstimmt mit der Reihenfolge der Vorkommnis im dem txt oder csv-file.

Für Antworten, Anregungen und Hinweise bin ich sehr dankbar.
