A List of Data Transformation Tools

Hi, I saw this website full of data conversion tools.

http://dataconv.org/apps_db.html

I am trying to use KETTLE (www.kettle.be) and their demo tutorials look promising.

RE: A List of Data Transformation Tools

I've had a play with KETTLE and must admit it's probably the best open source ETL tool that I have come accross so far.
The SAP connector is useful and other than that it can connect with most sources.

I was really amazed with what kettle can do. With this tool you can pull data from different data sources (database, text files, excel sheets etc) with one shot!

The graphical tool is very easy to use.

With kettle and palo, I think what can be done is to:

design your data extraction and transformation with kettle
dump your results into a mysql database
and then, load the data into the cubes of palo.

Bwahaha! I'm very happy...
