Palo Installation using source code + some clerification

Hello Plao Team,

Thanks for wonderful product.
Till now I worked on Plao 1.0c on windows machine. Now I need to migrate it to Linux box.
I tried installing it. It is throwing unable to locate libexpat.so.1. I copied the same in /usr/lib folder but still same message.
Also I copied php_jedox_palo.so to extension folder of php.
But still I am not able to configure it.

Question :-

1. If download sources from
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloadi…646.zip&5309241
and compile it in my php version will I get Only Palo1.5 server or Plao Server + SDK 1.5.
If we only server how to get SDK for PHP?

2. Where I can get sources for palo 1.0c/ palo_sdk1.0

Request :-

It would be greate help if we get some document of instruction procedure.

Thanks

Hi!
Sorry for not responding promptly. As you probably have noticed we started moving our website content from one server to another. Our support team is currently very busy working on resolving issues related to that. We were hoping someone from Palo community would jump in and help you.

I would request to provide some assitance in proper installation of server and php modle.

Please find attached the config.log file of 1 server configution. For both 1.0c and 1.5 palo version.

RE: Palo Installation using source code + some clerification

Hi!
I would suggest you start of with 1.5. Download the packages from SF or make checkout of SF's SVN. Then take a look at READMEs. It's pretty straight forward: configure, make and then you run the binary.

RE: Palo Installation using source code + some clerification

Hello Mr. V Malicevic

Thanks for clarifications,

I got the Palo 1.5 server installed, but I could see some warnings and error messages in config.log
Now I have to install PHPpalo module to store/retrieve data in cubes.
I will come back in case of some queries.
I saw one posting on phppalo installation yesterday in Palo API section by Praveenks.

Thank You Again.
Regards,
Arun
