Import data with Kettle

Hello,

I have red in this forum that import data kettle plugin was written using JPALO).
Has anybody know the issue?

Kettle plugin for palo is almost ready - it was decided to hold with it's publishing till palo 1.5 release and final check with release version...

That's really great news!!!

Thanks a lot for the effort.

I hope with the final release of Palo 1.5, the installation problems will be fixed as well. If so, then the major issues of my dashboard project are solved.

Hi, Stephanie, could you, please update us on the availability status of this Kettle plugin? Is it available for download/testing? Any dates to look forward to? To see some samples would be great too.

Palo got some nice exposure in the recent JavaWorld magazine and made me quite anxious, a decent data feeder(Kettle plugin) would be just what it lacks.

Hello!

Probably that will be available for you after next palo beta appearance - 1.5 RC1 do have problems with data export functionality which is used for palo data access in our plug-in. (bug #381 in bug tracking)

Ah, I see it does ...

Version 1.5-2756 01.02.2007

- Add-in : after Import the calculation state was on manual.
- Addin : There's now a popup if a interactive Splashing could lead to a deletion of more than 10000000 Cells
- Addin : Fix for Bug 344
- Server : Fixes for export
- Server : Fixes for Bugs 346, 350, 381, 388

... does that mean we can look forward to a preview of the much awaited Kettle plugin?

PHP API's to import/export data from palo

Hello,

Are there any PHP API's to import/export data from palo?.
I heard of "Kettle plugin" for importing data, it is programmable? if yes what API's are prasent.
