Duplicate Element in Dimension
Good Morning,
I was wondering if anyone has a workaround for this error:
04.12.2006 11:18:01 ERROR: SERVER MAIN: error loading data:
Error code: -50

11 servermain() [ main.c:0282]: -
04.12.2006 11:18:01 ERROR: SERVICE MAIN: server main failed!
When trying to restart the service on our server this message was issued and then the service stopped. As a short-term solution I have moved the applicable database out of the data folder and restarted the service. All seems to work fine.
I will need to get this database back onto the server so that my users can work with it!
Any help would be appreciated!
Regards
Graeme

RE: Duplicate Element in Dimension
Hello Skyzal,
The entry in '0 dimension_add_or_update_() [ olap_helper.c:1184]' should show the line and the file where the loading fails. Try to remove the element from this line and restart the server.
Regards,
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for the response. I will try deleting this entry.
Just one question, how can I delete the duplicate item if Palo crashes when opening?
Regards
Graeme

Hello Skyzal,
Try to delete the concerning line by using a simple text editor and restart Palo Server again.
