Move Palo 3.3 PE Windows XP to Linux
We plan next time to move our PALO development from the DEV machine (Win XP) to a Linux VMware "machine". Could we simply take the last backup done (on file system level as guided in the setup guide) and restore it on the linux system? Moreover I'd expect some adaption needs... Is there a portation guide or something similar available?
Best regards,
Stefan
using and copying the MOLAP-data should be just fine
I do not know about the web files. Try it and report back please.
You can not reuse the configuration - the systems are too different
You could move the "repository.xml" from your ETL-server but you will have to look into the connections (like the configuration files)
