Unable to log on Palo web

When trying to log on on Palo Web

Login attempted with user: admin password: admin but no response


Systemmessage: ERROR: Username or password invalid


The Excel-add-in ist still working with this user.

are all the services started ? core, olap, httpd...

I remeber a problem like this in a former release (2.5 or so). There i had to switch something inside the user rights. that time i used the excel front end to do so.

there was also a blog entry here, but i'm unable to find it again.
