I am experiencing problems with the PALO.DATAC formula. When I select Paste View no data is returned. The formula is the same as the formula in the evaluation guide and the Excel error message is "A value is not available to the the formula or function". The PALO.DATA function returns the data.

Hi!
Try restarting Excel. If the error persists please send us this XLS file and the copy of the DB so we can take a look at it.

I tried restarting Excel and created a new worksheet and still had the same issue. Everything worked fine when I first downloaded the software. I have the same problem when trying to view the "Cockpit" file downloaded from your site. I also have the same problem when using my laptop so I suspect a problem with "the interface between the user and the keyboard". I have attached the excel file.

Thanks for the quick response to my query.

PALO.DATAC Issue

I have uninstalled Palo, deleted all folders and then reinstalled Palo. I still have the same error where PALO.DATAC does not return data but PALO.DATA does. I am able to enter and save data manualy to the DB using the PALO.DATA function.

Hi

I am using XP Pro, Excel 2003 and Palo 1.0c on my laptop and XP Home, Excel XP and Palo 1.0c on my desktop and have the same issue. Both Excel versions are English. Both worked with DATAC when initially installed and I think the issue started after I manually input data and used the |,#,! & !! functions.

Kind Regards

Hello,

I have the same problem. Today I installed Palo 1.5 on my XP Pro and using Excel 2003. DATAC don´t show the value (in Palo 1.0c DATAC returned the values). But when I change the formula into DATA I got the value. I hope someone can help me.

Greetings from Stuttgart

Well, I don´t know why but Palo seemed to healed itself. I´ve done nothing special and the DATAC formula is working again.
