Rule editor - need help!

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the rule editor! I was trying it about an hour but I didn`t get the correct result.

What I am trying to do is that palo calculates allocation keys automatically after I have imported the working hours for several projects. For example:

Dimensions:
Year (2010, 2011)
Month (Jan, Feb, ..., Dec)
allocation (working hours, allocation keys)
products (Stationary PC's, Portable PC's, Monitors, Peripherals)

Working hours:
150 (Stationary PC's)
400 (Portable PC's)
300 (Monitors)
150 (Peripherals)
= 1000 working hours

In this case, the allocation keys for each product/project must be:
Stationary PC's = 150 / 1000 = 0,15 (15%)
Portable PC's = 400 / 1000 = 0,40 (40 %)
Monitors = 300 / 1000 = 0,30 (30 %)
Peripherals = 150 / 1000 = 0,15 (15 %)

In best case, palo calculate the values for the element "allocation keys" automatically after I have imported the working hours for each month. I would like to establish a general rule which I dont have to adapt each month.

Can anyone help me, please?

regards!

Hi TR7

Try this:

['allocation keys']=['working hours']/['working hours','All Products']

All Products ist the top element of products dimension.
